INTERNSHIP
PURPOSE

The Rock Internship is a program aspiring to reproduce generations of ministry leaders and pastors at and beyond Rock Church. Our internship program is geared toward those who are over the age of 18 and provides a balance of both practical and educational ministry.

INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW

INTERNSHIP PAY

Traditional Interns receive a $750 stipend every three months to assist with living expenses such as gas, food, etc.

TRANSPORTATION

The majority of your responsibilities will require that you have a reliable form of transportation which makes a license and car mandatory for your internship.

PASTORAL SHADOWING

Throughout each month, you will shadow a different ministry department to learn how to become a well-rounded leader! At the end of the shadowing period, you will decide which ministry you would like to spend the final few months of your internship.

ADDITIONAL
INFORMATION

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Involved in a ministry at Rock Church or another local church.

  • If attending another church, Rock SOM will contact the pastor to inform them and ask for a reference.

  • Personal reference forms from 2 people.

  • Minister reference form from 1 pastor.

  • Tither as evidenced by church records.

  • Admission is not granted until all documents are received and approved.

  • Application fees must also be received before admission is granted.

RETENTION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Satisfactory progress in coursework.

  • We will be completing one class per month. We ask that you study and prepare accordingly for each class.

  • Satisfactory progress in ministry at Rock Church or other local church.

  • Continuously pursue living a holy life according to Biblical Christian standards.

 

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Complete the coursework for desired credential level.

  • Complete practical ministry requirements.


INTERNSHIP COST:

  • $20 Application Fee - one time

  • $30 Berean School of the Bible (an extension of Global University) Registration Fee - one time.

  • $120 per course (The course must be paid for before receiving material, no exceptions)
