wel

come!

At Rock Kids, we are passionate about creating an atmosphere where kids experience God in a way they will never forget. Parents have the freedom to worship in the main service while their kids are safe and secure praising God, meeting new friends, and learning God’s Word each week.

From the early steps of infants to the active steps of 5’s, our Early Childhood classrooms provide a loving environment that is safe and God-centered. Our Rock Kids team partners together with parents to create a place where faith, imagination, and learning God’s word go hand-in-hand.

At Rock Church, we firmly believe in small groups. We introduce this to Rock Kids by modeling a small group & large group format. Kids build relationships with their friends and leaders before service through games and activities. Then, they experience Jesus through worship and a bible story in a large group setting. Finally, they gather together in small groups to connect and apply truth to their lives in discussion and hands-on activities.

questions?

What age does my child need to be to attend Rock Kids?

Rock Kids is made up of two main age groups: Early Childhood (birth-5 years) and Elementary (K-5th Grade).

How do I know my child is safe in Rock Kids?

We put a high value on safety in Rock Kids and have security present at all times. All people entering the Rock Kids environments are either serving as a background-checked volunteers or dropping off/picking up children. Each of our classrooms have room ratios to ensure the safety of every individual child.

What can I expect when arriving for the first time?

When arriving to Rock Kids, you will be greeted by our Rock Kids Welcome Team. We will help you register your family at the Kiosk where you will receive two name tags - one for your child to wear and one for pick-up after service. It is important that you keep your child’s check-out slip, as that is a security measure we take to ensure all pick-ups are safe! Our Welcome Team member will then show you to your child’s classroom, where he/she will be dropped off and picked up.

As a parent, can I be my child's classroom teacher?

Many parents are involved with their children in Rock Kids, and our team is always excited to welcome new volunteers who love pouring into the lives of their children! If you would like to become more involved, learn more about the steps to becoming a Rock Kids volunteer here.
